CARIN's Health Technology Ecosystem RFI Response
On June 16, 2025, the CARIN Alliance submitted their response to CMS and ASTP/ONC's Request for Information (RFI). The Agencies requested feedback across a number of domains and solicited how various stakeholders might be impacted including, patients and caregivers, providers, payers, technology vendors, data providers, networks, and value-based care organizations. Questions included changes to CEHRT, digital identity, information blocking, digital quality measurement, patient empowerment, price transparency, de-regulation, TEFCA, and others. CARIN's Policy Workgroup has written a response on behalf of the full alliance. Rulemaking is expected to follow this RFI across several domains.
