CARIN's Wrong Record Scenario Letter to ONC
The CARIN Alliance has advocated with OCR and ONC to make additional clarifications around HIPAA liability for potential inaccurate responses for Individual Access Queries pursuant to an Individual’s Right of Access. In our most recent letter to ONC, we make recommendations for clarifying data holders’ responsibilities and those of consumer-facing applications.
